Research a Florida data center development lead

Start with the location and recorded stage in the public preview, then establish the site, phase and next decision to check. This selective public set is not a statewide facility map or list of open bids. An unknown research-check or activity date remains unknown.

Identify the agency and search the right permit record

Florida DEP's Environmental Resource Permitting coordination page explains that ERP applications are handled by DEP or a water management district under operating agreements. Its program covers activities affecting surface-water flows, including construction runoff and work in wetlands. Use its agency and portal links to identify the responsible office for the actual site and work.

The agency's permit-finding instructions distinguish applications under review from permit documents. The shared Water Permitting Portal supports address, permit-number and map searches; its coverage starts in 2007 and excludes projects exempt from permitting requirements. DEP's Map Direct route links site records to documents, while Nexus searches the OCULUS archive. Follow the issuing agency and permit reference to the underlying file. A missing portal result leaves the question unresolved.

Keep environmental records, local decisions and procurement separate

Record the document type, authority, reference, decision date, work scope, conditions and date checked. Read the responsible locality's zoning, hearing outcome and building records separately. Keep an application, recommendation, adopted decision and withdrawal distinct; for local water, power, access or noise concerns, retain the dated source and what it actually establishes.

For a contractor or supplier pursuit, confirm the package, purchasing responsibility and a current procurement route. A recorded stage or permit does not establish an award or available contract. Use the approval evidence register, permit-check workflow and procurement-route checklist, or browse the existing Florida public previews.

Official resource descriptions checked October 18, 2026. These starting points do not verify permits or current work for any Radar record, and do not refresh project source-check dates.
