Project overview

Batavia’s proposed data center is on industrial land in the city’s northeast area. City-approved service agreements address utilities and the requirements the facility must meet as development proceeds. The city’s September 2026 update describes a planned facility; those agreements establish an approval milestone, not proof that construction is complete or operations have started.

Follow-up opened Oct 10, 2026. The review did not resolve every question; the last completed research check is retained.

Research checked reflects the original workbook research. New source checks are recorded separately as they are completed.
