PUBLIC COMPANY RESEARCH
Amazon Web Services (AWS) data center research
Cloud infrastructure and services provider
Documented role
AWS describes its global cloud infrastructure in terms of Regions and Availability Zones. Amazon also publishes information about its data center infrastructure.
AWS Global Infrastructure: official Regions and Availability Zones context (opens in a new tab)
An AWS infrastructure label is useful company context, but a contractor needs a physical site, a phase and a documented purchasing route. A service-coverage map is not a map of every publicly disclosed construction site.
What to check before a pursuit
- Identify whether the source describes a Region, an Availability Zone, a campus or one building. Preserve that unit of scope in notes and counts.
- Match the project’s public applicant, locality and source-supported AWS association. Similar addresses or an AWS cloud connection alone do not establish ownership or tenancy.
- Check local approvals, utility milestones and any procurement evidence separately. A broad multi-year infrastructure announcement should not become a current individual-site spend or delivery claim.
Keep the scope clear
Do not count a Region or Availability Zone as a single project. A colocation facility offering connectivity to AWS is not thereby an AWS-owned construction project.
Continue the research
Use the public project directory and state guides to identify a location. Then compare the construction milestones with the contractor and capacity field guide.
Sources and limits
Official company resource checked October 19, 2026. Its publication date is not established here. Company descriptions are attributed to the company; this profile does not independently confirm individual project claims, endorsements or bid availability. The check date is an editorial source review, not a new project milestone.
This public registry is compiled separately from Radar’s member company/project relationships. No private portfolio, contractor list, exact capacity or held project association is inferred from it. Member research offers available contractor details, capacity evidence and permitting history; research depth varies by project.
